Sportinvest Trapani Sharks (Serie A) agreed terms with 23-year old Mali forward Adama Sanogo (206cm-111kg-2002, college: UConn) for new 2025-26 season. Sanogo played this summer at Utah Jazz in the NBA Summer League. In 6 games just recently he had 4.7ppg, 5.8rpg and 1.3apg. He ended 24-25 season at the Bulls in NBA where in four NBA Summer League games he recorded only 2.0ppg and 1.5rpg. But the most of that year he spent at Bulls in U.S. NBA-G-League. In 22 NBA Summer League games he averaged impressive 16.6ppg, 10.7rpg, 1.4apg and 1.2bpg.
Sanogo represented Mali at the New Jersey Non-Public B Championship Quarterfinals five years ago. His team made it to the Big East Tournament Semifinals in 2022 and 2023.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to USBasket.com NBA G League All-Rookie Team in 2024.
He graduated from University of Connecticut in 2023 and it will be his third season as a professional player.
