Strasbourg inks Amadou Sow

Amadou Sow

SIG Strasbourg (Betclic ELITE ProA) signed 26-year old Mali forward Amadou Sow (206cm-107kg-1998, college: UCSB). He was second best scorer at Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana in Slovenian Liga Nova KBM. In 11 Eurocup games he had 7.5ppg and 5.4rpg. He also played 11 games in ABA League where he recorded 7.5ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.1spg.
His team won Slovenian Supercup in 2024.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at ADA Blois.
Among many awards he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-French ProA Honorable Mention in 2023.
Sow graduated from University of California Santa Barbara in 2022 and it will be his third season as a professional player. His team won Slovenian Supercup in 2024.
