Bassala Bagayoko

Surne Bilbao Basket (Liga Endesa) signed 17-year-old Mali 208cm center Bassala Bagayoko. He last played at Fuenlabrada in the Primera FEB. In 7 Liga Endesa games, he averaged 6.1ppg, 4.6rpg, and 1.3spg during the 2022-23 season. In the previous (2021-22) season, he played for Mega MIS Beograd U18 team (EYBL) in the Serbian league. He also played for CB Fuenlabrada Madrid U19 team (U19 Championship) where he had impressive stats: 17.0ppg, 12.0rpg (#4 in the league), and 2.7apg in three games.
Despite his young age, he had a great career. His team won the Spanish EBA Group B-A Regular Season in 2021. Bagayoko was also named to the Adidas Next Generation Tournament Finals in Belgrade All-Tournament Team in 2022.
