Ibrahima Haidara joins Nantes

Hermine Nantes Atlantique (ProB) has agreed to terms with 31-year-old Mali ex-international power forward Ibrahima Haidara (204cm-1992) for the new 2024-25 season. He will remain in France, where he played last season at Stade Rochelais Basket. In 41 ProB games in France, he averaged 6.7ppg and 4.2rpg, helping them win the ProB title. During the previous (2022-23) season, he played for another French team, CTC Feurs-Rozier Basket (NM1).
Haidara also represented Mali at the FIBA World Cup 2023 African Qualifiers last year. During this event, he scored an average of 7.3 ppg and had 5 rpg.
He has also played professionally in Mali (Police).
