Cheick Diallo

Osos de Manati (BSN) signed 27-year-old Mali power forward Cheick Diallo (206cm-104kg-1996, college: Kansas). He moved there from Kyoto Hannaryz in Japanese B1 League. In 42 games, he had 12.0ppg, 6.2rpg, and 1.0apg last season. He also played for the Heat in the NBA. The other team he played briefly for was Skyforce in the NBA G League. Another team he played for a short time was Kyoto (B1 League).
In 2016, he was drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers (NBA) in the second round (33rd overall). He attended the University of Kansas, and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball.
Thirteen years ago, Diallo represented Mali at the African Championship U16 in Egypt. His team won Bronze.
Diallo is a very experienced player. He has played in six different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, and North America). Diallo has previously played professionally in Russia (Avtodor), Spain (Fuenlabrada), the NBA (New Orleans Pelicans, Detroit Pistons, and Phoenix Suns), Puerto Rico (Cangrejeros), and the NBA G League (Austin Spurs, Long Island Nets, Greensboro Swarm, and Motor City Cruise).
In 2022, his team reached the NBA G League Winter Showcase Cup Final Four. In 2023, he was voted to the Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese B League Honorable Mention.
