Sadio Doucoure (ex Peja) signs at US Monastir

Defending champion U.S. Monastir (ProA) has signed 31-year-old French-Mali 200cm small forward Sadio Doucoure. He began the season with KB Peja in the Kosovan Superliga, playing in three leagues this year. In 11 Superliga games, he averaged 11.1ppg, 5.9rpg, 1.3apg, and 1.2spg, earning the title of League Player of the Week. Doucoure also played 4 games in the Balkan League, with impressive stats of 16.5ppg, 5.5rpg, 1.3apg, and 1.3spg. In addition, he recorded 2 games in Liga Unike, averaging 9.5ppg, 4.5rpg, 2.0spg, and 1.0bpg. Last season, he played for JSF Nanterre (Betclic ELITE ProA) in France.
He was a member of the French U20 National Team in 2012.
He has played professionally in France (Olympique Antibes, Metropolitans, Chalons Reims, Chorale de Roanne, and Cognac BB) and Kosovo. His team reached the Balkan League Semifinals in 2024.
