Bakary Camara (ex Randers) agreed terms with Denain-Voltaire

Bakary Camara

Denain ASC Voltaire (ProB) inked 25-year old American (has also Mali--Malian passport) 201cm swingman Bakary Camara (college: Bridgeport) for upcoming season. Camara played most recently at Randers Cimbria Basketball in Danish BasketLigaen. In 30 games he recorded 13.9ppg, 7.6rpg, 3.0apg and 2.4spg (in top 2) last season. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Great season indeed as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Danish Ligaen Second Team.
His team won ECC Regular Season in 2018 and 2020.
The previous (2021-22) season he played at Odilo FC Cartagena CB in Spanish LEB Silver where in 27 games he averaged 9.0ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.0apg in that year.
Camara has played also professionally for other Spanish teams like Palencia and Carbajosa.
He was selected All-ECC Defensive Player of the Year back in 2020.
Camara graduated from Bridgeport University in 2020 and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball. His team won ECC Regular Season in 2018 and 2020.
