Al Ahly top Stade Malien to reach Final

Al Ahly advanced into the Basketball Africa League championship game. They overcame Stade Malien in the second semifinal of the day. Ehab Amin (193-G-1995, college: Oregon) posted 21 points to lead the effort.
Stade Malien sank 21 points in the second period to eke out a 38-33 halftime lead. But Al Ahly came off the dressing room in the second half firing on all cylinders. They sank 25 points to snatch a 5-point lead. Al Ahly maintained the lead throughout the fourth stanza and marched to the victory. Anunwa Omot (203-G) banked in 16 points in the win. Kelvin Amayo (193-G-1992, college: LMU, agency: Slash Sports) answered with 15 points, while Souleymane Berthe (SF-2000, agency: The French Family Consulting) had 14 points in the defeat.
