Fousseyni Drame transfers to Duquesne

University of Duquesne inked 22-year old Mali 6-7 forward Fousseyni Drame. Drame joins another Mali player Hassan Drame who is already in the roster.
He originally came from Bamako (Mali), and he is moving here from La Salle University where he played only for one year. In 32 games he recorded 8.9ppg, 5.4rpg and 1.0spg.
He played also at Saint Peter's University in 2019-2022. His team won MAAC Tournament and he helped La Salle team make it to the NCAA Elite Eight in 2022. He helped his team make it to the MAAC Tournament Semifinals and he was also voted to MAAC All-Academic Team in 2021. His team ended regular season as a second best place in MAAC in 2020 and 2022.
Drame graduated Our Savior New American School (Centereach, NY) in 2019.
He represented Mali at the World Cup U19 in Crete (Greece) four years ago. His team won Silver and his stats at that event were 7 games: 12.0ppg, 9.0rpg, 2.3apg, 2.3spg, FGP: 41.8%, 3PT: 28.6%, FT: 52.6%.
