Stade inks John Wilkins

Stade-Malien (D1) signed 33-year old Morocco-American ex-international power forward John Wilkins (207cm-104kg-1989, college: Illinois State). Wilkins played last season at Basket Club Lievinois in French NM2 league.
He also represented Morocco at the Afrobasket Championship six years ago. Wilkins' team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 6 games: 6.5ppg, 2.5rpg, 1.0apg, FGP: 46.2%, 3PT: 31.6%, FT: 64.3%.
Wilkins has played on three different continents (Europe, Africa and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Belgium (Pepinster), Germany (Duesseldorf) and Morocco (AS Sale and Chabab Rif Al Hoceima). His team made it to the Moroccan League Semifinals in 2017 and 2018.
Wilkins graduated from Illinois State in 2013 and it will be his tenth season as a professional player.
