As the Northern Zone Basketball League(NOZOBAL) continues Luwinga Lakers hammered Nkhulande
with 66 baskets to 58 baskets on saturday 23/06/07.

The Luwinga based Lakers outplayed their counterparts by using thier pointguiard Martyn
who dished them good passes and in the first quarter only he scored 15 baskets.

Nkhulande could have made it but they had a problem of getting rebounds. All the rebounds
were taken by Konwani(Luwinga Lakers-center). "I knew we will win coz we have been training
hard" said Martyn in an interview after the game.

During the same day Mzuzu Pistons outplayed Ekwendeni with 75 baskets to 43 baskets. Maya
(Mzuzu Pistos-center) had the game on tight with nobody to stop him with his tall height and all
the rebounds found way in his hands. The Ekwendeni loss was contributed by their ponitguard
who was very young and inexperienced. This puts Ekwendeni on the bottom line since they have
lost all the games so far.
