Lightning adds Adewunmi to their roster, ex COSPN

Lakeside Lightning (NBL One West) added to their roster 25-year old American guard Mike Adewunmi (196cm-93kg-1999, college: UTRGV) for new 2024 season. Adewunmi played last summer at Club Omnisports Police Nationale in Madagascar 1A league. He managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year. Adewunmi ended the last season at KK Kumanovo 2009 in North Macedonian Prva Liga where in 7 games he had 8.1ppg and 2.7rpg. But the most of that year he spent at Shumen Basket in Bulgarian NBL. In 12 games he recorded 11.3ppg, 5.2rpg and 2.3apg.
He graduated from University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in 2022 and it will be his third season as a professional player. Adewunmi played for other colleges like: Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville, McLennan Community College, University of Houston.
