Pornic inks Amy M'Boma

Amy M'Boma-Buczyk

Pornic Basket Saint Michel (NM2) signed experienced 35-year old Madagascar ex-international guard Amy M'Boma (188-83). He has played for the last five seasons at Union Tours Metropole Basket in the NM1. In 22 games he had 4.9ppg, 1.6rpg and 1.2apg last season. NM2 will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others M'Boma's team made it to the NM1 Play-Offs Semifinals for two years in a row (2013 and 2014). He was a member of Madagascar Senior National Team back in 2011.
M'Boma has spent his entire career in France playing for six other teams: Sceaux, ALM Evreux, La Rochelle, Autun, ESC Trappes Saint Quentin Yvelines and Basse Indre.
M'Boma is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Pornic.
