Cameroon ties Madagascar at 1-1 record after beating them in Day 2 of FIBA Africa Championship for Women. Cameroon played better on Saturday with 67:39 victory. The guests opened the game 17-8 and added 19-18 before the halftime. Cameroon also was better in the third period with 18-13 and 13-5 in the last stanza. Amina Njonkou (185-F-88, college: Arizona) led the way with 20 points while Belle Mendeng added 10 points and 8 rebounds. In Day 3 Madagascar will host South Africa and Cameroon will take on South Africa.
