Defending champion Al Ahly Tripoli (D1) hired Tunisian coach Mounem Oune, who most recently coached at Al Ittihad in the Syrian league.'

He has also coached in Tunisia, between Stade Nabeulien and Club Africain, and in Libya, during his time with Ahly Benghazi.
Among many awards, his team won the Libyan Supercup in 2024. Oune was also voted the Afrobasket.com All-Libyan League Coach of the Year back in 2023.
