Charlie Moore (ex Kuwait) joins Ahly Benghazi

Al Ahly Benghazi (D1) agreed terms with 28-year-old American point guard Charlie Moore (183cm-82kg-1998, college: Miami, FL). He just played at Kuwait in Kuwaiti D1 league. In 8 games, he had very impressive stats: 23.1ppg, 4.0rpg, 9.0apg (top 3), and 1.6spg last season. It was a good year as he was named League Player of the Week.
He was a member of the USA Under 19 National Team in 2017.
Moore is a highly experienced player, having played in six different countries across three continents during his career. He has played professionally in Belgium, Italy, Serbia, Spain, and Libya, as well as winning the Kuwait Supercup in 2026 with his team.
He was voted to the ACC All-Defensive Team in 2022.
Moore graduated from the University of Miami in 2022 and is in his fourth season as a professional player. He played for other colleges such as De Paul University, the University of Kansas, and the University of California.
