Taipei Taishin Mars (TPBL) signed 32-year old USA ex-international guard Michael Frazier II (193cm-91kg-1994, college: Florida). He just played at Al Ittihad Tri in Libyan D1 league. This season he played at Palayesh Naft Abadan in Iranian Superleague where in 11 D1 games he had very impressive stats: 27.4ppg, 3.8rpg, 3.3apg and 2.1spg this season.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
Frazier was also a member of the USA international program for some years. He played for USA Senior National Team between 2019 and 2022 and previously for the Under 19 National Team back in 2013.
Frazier also represented the USA at the FIBA World Cup 2023 Americas Qualifiers three years ago. Frazier's team won Gold, and he averaged over 3 points per game.
He is a highly experienced player. Frazier has played in eleven different countries on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, and North America). He has played professionally in Australia (Hawks and Wildcats), China (Blue Whales), Germany (EnBW Ludwigsburg), Iran, Italy (Verona), Jordan (Amman United), Lebanon (Beirut Club), NBA (Houston Rockets and LA Lakers), NBA G League (South Bay Lakers, Rio Grande Valley Vipers, Noblesville Boom, Iowa Wolves, and Delaware Blue Coats), and NBA Summer League (Phoenix Suns). His team made it to the Dubai International Tournament Semifinals in 2026.
Among many awards, he was voted USBasket.com All-NBA G League Most Improved Player of the Year back in 2019.
Frazier graduated from the University of Florida in 2015 and is currently in his eleventh season as a professional player.
