Al Ittihad Tri inks Dikembe Dixson, ex Shabab Al Ahli

Dikembe Dixson

Al Ittihad Tripoli (D1) signed 29-year-old American forward Dikembe Dixson (201cm-91kg-1996, college: UIC). He joins another USA player Michael Frazier II who is already in the roster. He just played at Shabab Al Ahli in UAE ULB league. In 5 games, he had very impressive stats: 18.4ppg, 6.0rpg, and 1.6spg last season.
During part of last summer, he spent time at Al Ahly Tripoli. He also played for Hoops Club (LBL) in the Lebanese league.
He is a very experienced player. Dixson has played in ten different countries on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America). He has played professionally in Brazil (UNIFACISA), Finland (Karhubasket), Iraq (Al Karkh), Italy (Brindisi), Lebanon, Luxembourg (T71 Dudelange), Saudi Arabia (Al Safa), Switzerland (Monthey-Chablais), North Macedonia (Vardar) and NBA G League (Windy City Bulls and Capital City Go-Go).
His team emerged victorious in the Libyan Cup in 2025.
Dixson graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2018 and is currently in his eighth season as a professional player.
