Al Ahly - Unicaja 61-73

Unicaja Malaga claimed the first win at the 2025 FIBA Intercontinental Cup. They beat Al Ahly Tripoli in Singapore to open their campaign. Tyson Perez (202-PF-1996) came up with 16 points to pace the winners.
Unicaja limited their opponents to just 10 points in the first period to take a 6-point lead. The teams traded baskets throughout the second term as Unicaja arrived at halftime up by 6 points 34-28. Unicaja shifted the gear in the third term. The Spaniards extended the margin at 12 points at the final intermission heading into the fourth period. Unicaja kept their opponents at bay throughout the final frame and rallied to the win. James Webb III (205-PF-1993, college: Boise St.) and Tyler Kalinoski (193-SG-1992, college: Davidson) delivered 12 points apiece for Unicaja. Ivan Almeida (197-SF-1989, college: Stonehill) answered with 21 points, while Ismael Romero (205-C-1991) added 20 points for Al Ahly.
