Almaghribi comes back to Al Ahly Tripoli

Defending champion Al Ahly Tripoli (D1) strengthened their roster with addition of 26-year old international power forward Ghayth Almaghribi (206cm-1999). It is actually his comeback to Tripoli as he has played here before. Almaghribi played this summer at Ahly Benghazi in the D1. He helped them to make it to the Libyan Cup Semifinals. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted Afrobasket.com All-Libyan League Center of the Year. Almaghribi has been regularly called to Libyan Senior National Team since 2022.
He is quite experienced player. Almaghribi has played also professionally in Saudi Arabia (Al Khaleej), Yemen (Shaa'b Ibb) and United Arab Emirates (Al Bataeh).
His team won Libyan Supercup in 2024.
