Al Bataeh sign a second foreign player, ex Al Ahly Tripoli

Al Bataeh Sharjah (ULB) landed 27-year old American 185cm guard PJ Hardy (college: Louisiana) for new season. Hardy is the second foreign player in the roster as South Sudanese Deng Acuoth signed here earlier.
He played this summer at Al Ahly Tripoli in Libyan D1 league. He helped them to win the cup. He also played for US Monastir in Tunisian league that season where in 8 Basketball Africa League games he averaged impressive 17.3ppg, 2.0rpg, 5.4apg and 2.0spg. Hardy contributed to his team making it to the quarterfinals.
And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life on four different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, African and of course North American leagues. Hardy has played previously professionally also in Saudi Arabia (Al Nasr) and Serbia (Spartak and KK Tamis Pancevo).
Among many awards he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Serbian League Honorable Mention in 2023.
He graduated from University Louisiana at Lafayette in 2020 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.
