Ahli of Aleppo (SBL) signed Tunisian coach Mounem Oune, who has coached for the last two seasons at Ahly Benghazi in the Libyan league.

He has also coached for other Tunisian teams like Stade Nabeulien and Club Africain. His team won the Libyan Supercup in 2024.

Among many awards, he was voted Afrobasket.com All-Libyan League Coach of the Year in 2023.
