Al Ahli Tripoli got off to a strong start in the Libya Basketball Cup finals. They overcame Al Ittihad 86-69 in the best-of-three series. Al Ahli Tripoli dominated the whole game to seal the win in the opener.
Earlier Al Ahli Tripoli and Al Ittihad Tripoli reached Cup Final. Al Ahli Tripoli outscored Al Nasr 96-80 to head to the Final, whilst Al Ittihad Tripoli beat Al Ahly Benghazi 73-64.
