Al Ahly Tripoli signs Dikembe Dixson, ex Hoops

Dikembe Dixson

Al Ahly Tripoli (D1) signed 28-year-old American forward Dikembe Dixson (201cm-91kg-1996, college: UIC). He played this summer at Hoops in Lebanese LBL league. In 21 games just recently, he had very impressive stats: 29.3ppg, 8.3rpg, 1.4apg, and 2.5spg. He was also named League Player of the Week and named to Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Second Team. The last season he played at Al Karkh (Superleague) in the Iraqi league.
Dixson is a very experienced player. He has played in ten different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, and North America). Dixson has played professionally in Brazil (UNIFACISA), Finland (Karhubasket), Iraq, Italy (Brindisi), Luxembourg (T71 Dudelange), Saudi Arabia (Al Safa), Switzerland (Monthey-Chablais), North Macedonia (Vardar), and NBA G League (Windy City Bulls and Capital City Go-Go).
His team won the Finnish League Regular Season in 2023.
He graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2018, and it will be his ninth season as a pro player.
