Christian Vital (ex Tortona) joins Al Ahly Tripoli

Christian Vital

Defending champion Al Ahly Tripoli (D1) agreed terms with 28-year old USA-Armenian guard Christian Vital (188cm-85kg-1997, college: UConn). He played last season at Bertram Yachts Derthona Tortona in Italian Serie A. In 28 games he had very impressive stats: 15.4ppg, 3.1rpg, 3.0apg and 1.1spg. He also played 15 games in Basketball Champions League where he recorded 14.7ppg, 3.5rpg, 2.3apg and 1.3spg. Vital helped them to make it to the quarterfinals.
He is quite an experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in seven different countries. Vital tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, and of course North America. He has played professionally in Canada (Honey Badgers), China (Vitalnan), Germany, Poland (Legia), NBA G League (SLC Stars, RGV Vipers, and Raptors 905 Mississauga), and NBA Summer League (Toronto Raptors).
In 2024, Vital's team won the Polish Cup. He was also voted the Eurobasket.com All-FIBA Europe Cup Import of the Year in 2024.
Vital graduated from UConn in 2020 and it'll be his sixth season as a pro player.
