Al Ahly Tripoli sign a second USA player, ex Tadamon

Delano Spencer

Al Ahly Tripoli (D1) inked 30-year old American 193cm guard Delano Spencer (college: Tennessee State). Spencer joins another USA player Troy Baxter Jr. who is already in the roster.
He played recently at Tadamon in Lebanese Division 2. In four games just recently he averaged impressive 15.8ppg, 3.8rpg, 4.0apg and 2.3spg last season. He also spent pre-season at Espanol (LNB) in Chilean league.
He is a very experienced player. Spencer has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to thirteen different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Brazil (UNIFACISA), Colombia (Cimarrones), Cyprus (Keravnos), Georgia (RASHI Tbilisi), Hungary (Zalakeramia ZTE KK), Mexico (Caballeros de Culiacan), Poland (Sokol), Slovakia (Spisski Rytieri), Ukraine (Khimik), Venezuela (Centauros and Frontinos), Czech Republic (Usti n/Labem), Dominican Republic (Caneros) and The Basketball Tournament (Purple Reign).
Among many awards his team made it to the Dominican Republic LNB Semifinals in 2024. Spencer was voted to Cyprus League All-Star Game in 2024.
He graduated from Tennessee State in 2018 and it is his seventh season in pro basketball. Spencer played also for Coffeyville Community College for 2 years.
