Ahly Benghazi sign a second USA player, ex Mayrouba

Defending champion Al Alhy Benghazi (D1) landed 29-year old American 203cm power forward Samuel Daniel (college: Florida Tech). Daniel joins another USA player Michael Frazier II who is already in the roster.
He played recently at Mayrouba in Lebanese LBL league, but left the team in March. In 5 games just recently he averaged impressive 24.8ppg, 8.4rpg and 3.4apg last season.
Two years ago (five years after his graduation) he was drafted by College Park Skyhawks (G-League) in second round (10th overall).
He graduated from Florida Institute of Technology in 2018 and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in twelve different countries playing on three different continents. Daniel is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in Argentina (Comunicaciones), Austria (UBSC Graz), Brazil (Minas), Canada (Five), Colombia (Bucaros), Luxembourg (T71 Dudelange), Mexico (Caballeros de Culiacan), Ukraine (Mykolaiv), United Kingdom (Plymouth Patriots), NBA G League (OKC Blue and Wisconsin Danielrd), The Basketball Tournament (Florida TNT and Southern Gentlemen) and TBL (Medora T.).
Among many awards Daniel's team won TBL Midwest Division Regular Season in 2024. He was voted to Mexican CIBACOPA All-Star Game back in 2022.
