Defending champion Al Alhy Benghazi (D1) agreed terms with 31-year old American ex-international guard Michael Frazier II (191cm-91kg-1994, college: Florida). Frazier just played at Amman United in Jordanian Premier League. In three games he had very impressive stats: 22.3ppg, 5.0rpg and 2.0apg last season.
The most of last season he spent at Ignite in U.S. NBA-G-League where in 18 games he recorded 11.5ppg, 3.2rpg and 1.1apg. He also played for Blue Whales in Chinese CBA. In three games he averaged 5.3ppg, 2.0rpg, 1.7apg and 1.0spg.
Frazier was a member of USA international program for some years. He was called to USA Senior National Team between 2019 and 2022 and previously for U19 National Team back in 2013.
Frazier is quite experienced player. Frazier's career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in six different countries. He tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Australia and of course North America. Frazier has played previously professionally in Australia (Hawks and Wildcats), Germany (EnBW Ludwigsburg), Italy (Verona), NBA (Houston Rockets and LA Lakers), NBA G League (South Bay Lakers, RGV Vipers, Indiana Mad Ants, Iowa Wolves and Delaware Blue Coats) and NBA Summer League (Phoenix Suns). His team won SEC Regular Season in 2013 and 2014.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted USBasket.com All-NBA G League Most Improved Player of the Year back in 2019.
He graduated from University of Florida in 2015 and it is his tenth season as a professional player.
