Al Ahly Tripoli (D1) added to their roster 33-year old American guard Pierre Jackson (180cm-82kg-1991, college: Baylor, agency: Slash Sports). for Dubai Tournament Jackson played last summer at Anhui Wenyi in Chinese NBL league. He managed to play in five leagues in three countries last year (!!!). In 24 NBL games he recorded very impressive stats: 22.9ppg, 4.1rpg and 5.1apg. Jackson also played for Ahly Benghazi that season where in 5 Basketball Africa League games he averaged 13.4ppg, 3.0rpg, 5.6apg and 2.2spg.
In 2013 he was drafted by Philadelphia 76ers (NBA) in second round (42nd overall). He graduated from Baylor University and it will be his 13th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Jackson is quite experienced player. Jackson's career allowed him to visit five different continents, while he played in ten different countries. He tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America. Jackson has played previously professionally in Croatia (Cedevita), France (JL Bourg), Israel (Maccabi Tel Aviv), Lebanon (Sagesse), Puerto Rico (Cangrejeros), Turkey (Galatasaray and Afyon), NBA (Dallas Mavericks and Detroit Pistons), NBA G League (SLC Stars, Texas Legends and South Bay Lakers) and The Basketball Tournament (Loyalty is Love). His team won Libyan Supercup in 2024. He was voted to D-League All-Star Game back in 2014 and 2017. Jackson played also for College of Southern Idaho for one year.
