Al Shurtah signs James Justice, ex Ahly Tripoli

James Justice

Al Shurtah Police (Superleague) signed experienced 35-year old American shooting guard James Justice (178cm-79kg-1989, college: UT Southern). He was the top scorer at Ahly Tripoli in Libyan D1 league. He also played for Al Ittihad Jeddah in Saudi Arabian SBL where in two games he had very impressive stats: 23.0ppg, 9.0rpg and 8.0apg. The other team he played shortly was Al Ittihad Tripoli (D1). In two games he recorded also remarkable stats: 23.0ppg, 9.0rpg and 8.0apg last season.
Justice is quite experienced player. He has played in nine different countries on four different continents (Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America). Justice has played previously professionally in Qatar (Qatar Club and Al Gharafa), Saudi Arabia (Al Ahli and Ohod), Tunisia (US Monastir and Club Africain), Egypt (Al Gezira and Somouha), United Arab Emirates (Al Sharjah), Dominican Republic (Metros), UBA (GIE Maile M.), Uganda (City Oilers) and Canada (Titans). His team won Libyan League Group 3 Regular Season in 2024.
Among many awards he was voted Afrobasket.com All-Libyan League Import Player of the Year in 2022.
He graduated from University of Tennessee Southern in 2012 and it will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) (!!!) season as a professional player.
