Al Ittihad Tripoli (D1) agreed terms with 27-year old American shooting guard Lagerald Vick (196cm-86kg-1997, college: Kansas). Vick played last summer at Mass Street (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. In two TBT games he had 7.0ppg, 4.5rpg, 3.0apg, 1.5spg and 1.0bpg in 2023 year. The last summer he played at Sharks where in 7 New Zealand games he recorded very impressive stats: 17.0ppg, 6.3rpg, 2.4apg and 1.4spg.
He represented USA at the World University Games in Gwangju (South Korea) nine years ago. His team won Gold and his stats at that event were 8 games: 4.5ppg, 2.3rpg.
Vick is quite experienced player. He has played in five different countries on three different continents (Latin America, Australia and of course North America). Vick has played previously professionally in Colombia (Toros), Mexico (Astros), Uruguay (Olimpia), Venezuela (Spartans) and Dominican Republic (Don Bosco). He won Mexican CIBACOPA championship title in 2022 and 2023 and the cup in 2016 and 2018.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Mexican CIBACOPA Honorable Mention in 2023.
Vick graduated from University of Kansas in 2019 and it will be his sixth season as a professional player.
