Ramon Galloway agreed terms with Ahly Benghazi

Defending champion Al Alhy Benghazi (D1) strengthened their roster with addition of 33-year old American 190cm guard Ramon Galloway (college: La Salle). Galloway played this summer at Austin's Own (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. The last season he played at AS Sale (DEX-H) in Moroccan league.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
Galloway is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to thirteen different countries on four different continents (Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America). Galloway has played previously professionally in Bosnia, Dominican Republic (San Lazaro, Metros, Enriquillo, Pueblo Nuevo and Indios), Germany, Indonesia (Dewa United), Italy, Lebanon (Anibal), Mexico (Dorados and Mantarrayas), Qatar, Taiwan (Taiwan Beer and TB Herobears), Turkey, Venezuela (Cocodrilos and Spartans), Egypt (Al Ittihad Alexandria) and The Basketball Tournament (Big 5). He won Mexican LBE championship title in 2024.
Among many awards he received Latinbasket.com All-Dominican Republic Santiago League Player of the Year award and Latinbasket.com All-Dominican Republic Santiago League Import Player of the Year award back in 2021.
He graduated from La Salle University in 2013 and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
