Gayth The King comes back to Ahly Benghazi

Defending champion Al Alhy Benghazi (D1) strengthened their roster with addition of 25-year old Libyan international 206cm power forward Ghayth Almaghribi. It is actually his comeback to Benghazi as he has played here before. Almaghribi was sign art Al Bataeh in UAE and he helped them to make nice results at Arabic championship at Egypt this month , He has been regularly called to Libyan Senior National Team since 2022.
Almaghribi has played also professionally in Saudi Arabia (Al Khaleej), Yemen (Shaa'b Ibb) and Libya (Al Morog, Ahly Tripoli and of course Ahly Benghazi). His team won Libyan Super cup in 2024. He was voted to Afrobasket.com Libyan League All-Domestic Players Team in 2021 and 2022.
