Golden signs at Ahly Benghazi

Trae Golden

Defending champion Al Ahly Benghazi (D1) confirmed in their roster 32-year old American point guard Trae Golden (189cm-93kg-1991, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Slash Sports). He also played for Blue Whales in Chinese CBA where in 38 D1 games he recorded very impressive stats: 33.3ppg, 5.5rpg and 7.7apg this season. He was also named League Player of the Week.
He is a very experienced player. Golden's career has taken him to three continents, playing in seven countries. He has played professionally in China (Sturgeons and Royal Fighters), Cyprus (Etha), Finland (Kobrat), France (Le Portel), Italy (Chieti), Russia (Avtodor), and Turkey (Bahcesehir).
His team made it to the Cypriot Cup Final Four in 2016. He was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese CBA Guard of the Year in 2022.
