Shabab adds Nurse to their roster, ex Vilkaviskis

Al Shabab added 26-year-old American power forward Joshua Nurse to their roster. He joins fellow USA player Elliott Cole on the team. Nurse moved from Vilkaviskio Perlas in the Lithuanian NKL league, where he played this season. In 21 NKL games, he averaged 7.9ppg, 8.3rpg, 1.1apg, and 2.8bpg. He also had a pre-season stint with Vellaznimi in the Kosovan league.
He is a very experienced player who has played professionally in Austria (Dukes), Georgia (Dinamo), Kosovo, North Macedonia (Kozuv), and TBL (Tri-State Admirals).
His team reached the Austrian Bundesliga A Semifinals in 2023.
He graduated from St. Francis College (NY) in 2020 and it's his fourth season as a pro player.
