Al Hilal Benghazi (D1) strengthened their roster with addition of 32-year old American 188cm guard Kenny Brown (college: Ferris State, agency: SLN) for season 2023-24. Brown played recently at Al Arabi in Qatari QBL league. In 9 games he recorded 14.7ppg, 3.8rpg, 4.3apg and 1.3spg this season. He helped them to win the league title. Brown also played for Al Arabi (QBL) where in 9 games he averaged 14.7ppg, 3.8rpg, 4.3apg and 1.3spg. The other team he played that season for was Al Arabi (QBL). In 9 games he had 14.7ppg, 3.8rpg, 4.3apg and 1.3spg. He contributed to his team winning the league title.
Brown is a very experienced player. Thanks to Brown's pro career he managed to play on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America) in fourteen different countries. He has played previously professionally in Colombia (Fast Break and Bucaros), Iraq (Al Karkh and Al Shurtah), Kosovo (Prishtina), Latvia (Liepaja), Panama, Romania (CSM Steaua Bucuresti), Saudi Arabia (Al Nassr, Al Ansar and Al Wehda), Tunisia (ES Rades), Turkey (Efes), Nicaragua (Sinsa-Tigres), Qatar (Al Gharafa), Libya (Al Ittihad Tri, Al Morog and Ahly Benghazi), El Salvador (Aguila) and The Basketball Tournament (Team DRC).
Among many awards he was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Iraqi League Co-Guard of the Year back in 2016.
Brown graduated from Ferris State in 2013 and it is his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball.
