Al Nasr adds Boatright to their roster

Al Nasr Benghazi (D1) added to their roster 31-year old Armenian-American ex-international point guard Ryan Boatright (183cm-73kg-1992, college: UConn) for new 2023-24 season. Boatright started the season at Apollon in Greek GBL league. In two games he recorded 11.0ppg, 1.5rpg and 3.5apg.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
Boatright also represented Armenia at the European Championships 2024 years ago. His stats at that event were 2 games: Score-3(24.5ppg), 6.0rpg, Assists-1(9.5apg), Steals-5(2.5spg).
He is quite experienced player. Boatright has played also professionally in China, Croatia (Cedevita), France (Paris Basket), Israel (Bnei Hertzeliya), Italy (Orlandina), Lithuania (Rytas), Russia (Avtodor and Parma-Pari), Slovenia (Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana), Spain (Unicaja), Turkey (Besiktas), NBA (Detroit Pistons and Brooklyn Nets), NBA G League (Texas Legends, Grand Rapids Gold and Ontario Clippers) and The Basketball Tournament (Team Heartfire). He played in the final of AAC Tournament in 2014 and 2015.
Boatright was voted to VTB United League All-Star Game in 2023.
He graduated from University of Connecticut in 2015 and it is his ninth season as a professional player.
