Al Ahly Tripoli (D1) have strengthened their roster by adding 27-year-old American forward Donte Ingram, who stands at 199cm tall. Ingram, who played college basketball at Loyola, IL, began the season with Al Bataeh in the UAE ULB league. Last season, he played for Dinamo in the Romanian Liga Nationala, where he averaged 10.3 points per game, 4.4 rebounds per game, and 1.5 assists per game in 26 games.
He's a highly experienced player, having played professionally in four different countries across three continents. He has played in Holland for Groningen, in New Zealand for Giants, in Romania, and in the NBA G League for Texas Legends and Greensboro Swarm.
Among the many awards, his college team won the MVC Tournament in 2018. He was voted to the Australiabasket.com All-New Zealand NBL Honorable Mention in 2021.
He graduated from Loyola University of Chicago in 2018, and this is his sixth season in professional basketball.
