Nick Stover is a newcomer at Ahly Benghazi

Nick Stover

Defending champion Al Alhy Benghazi (D1) strengthened their roster with addition of 30-year old American forward Nick Stover (198cm-90kg-1993, college: USA) for season 2023-24. Stover joins another USA player Parrish Petty who is already in the roster.
He played most recently at Ahly Tripoli. He helped them to win the regular season.
The previous (2022) summer he was tested by Al Wakrah in Qatari.
He has played also professionally in Jordan (Orthodox), Saudi Arabia (Al Nassr and Al Salam) and Qatar (Al Gharafa and Al Arabi).
Among many awards Stover's team won Qatari Cup in 2020. Stover was also voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Qatar D1 Forward of the Year back in 2018.
Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him to get the job in pro basketball.
He graduated from University of South Alabama in 2017 and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball. Stover played also for Loyola Marymount University for 2 years.
