Ahly Benghazi inks Gayth Mohammed

Al Alhy Benghazi (D1) signed 24-year old international power forward Gayth Mohammed (206cm-1999) for upcoming 2023-24 season. Mohammed played last season at Al Morog. He also played for Al Khaleej (Division 1) in Saudi Arabian league. Mohammed has been regularly called to Libyan Senior National Team since 2022.
He has played previously professionally also in Yemen (Shaa'b Ibb).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted Afrobasket.com All-Libyan League Center of the Year in 2021.
