Anees Almansouri is a newcomer at Ahly Benghazi

Defending champion Al Alhy Benghazi (D1) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old international power forward Anees Almansouri (205cm-1995) for season 2023-24. Almansouri was about to sign at Ahly Tripoli. He has been regularly called to Libyan Senior National Team since 2022.
Almansouri is a very experienced player. He won Libyan League championship title in 2021 and 2022 and the cup in 2018 and 2021. Almansouri was voted to Afrobasket.com All-Libyan League Honorable Mention in 2023.
