Al Ittihad inks James Justice, ex City Oilers

Al Ittihad Tripoli (D1) agreed terms with experienced 34-year old American shooting guard James Justice (178cm-79kg-1989, college: UT Southern) to play final rounds of 2022-2023 season.

Justice played this summer at City Oilers in Ugandan NBL league. In 5 Basketball Africa League games just recently he had very impressive stats: 19.0ppg, 5.4rpg, 3.6apg and 1.2spg. The last season he played at Ohod in Saudi Arabian SBL where in 19 games he recorded also remarkable stats: 28.2ppg, 6.0rpg, 3.2apg and 1.7spg.

Good season as he was named League Player of the Week and named to Asia-Basket.com All-Saudi Arabian SBL Second Team.

He is quite experienced player. Justice has played in nine different countries on four different continents (Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Canada (Titans), Qatar (Qatar Club and Al Gharafa), Tunisia (US Monastir and Club Africain), Saudi Arabia (Al Ahli), Egypt (Al Gezira and Somouha), United Arab Emirates (Al Sharjah), Dominican Republic (Metros), Libya (Ahly Tripoli) and UBA (GIE Maile M.). he was voted TranSouth Conference Player of the Year back in 2011 and 2012.

Justice graduated from University of Tennessee Southern in 2012 and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season as a professional player.
