Marlon Johnson

Al Alhy Benghazi (D1) added to their roster 29-year old American power forward Marlon Johnson (208cm-98kg-1994, college: NMHU). Johnson joins another USA player Kyndall Dykes who is already in the roster.
He started the season at Dynamo in Lebanese LBL league. In 7 games he had very impressive stats: 16.4ppg, 9.4rpg, 1.3apg, 1.3spg and 2.4bpg.
He is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit five different continents, while he played in eight different countries. He tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America. Johnson has played previously professionally in Canada (Stingers, Saskatchewan and Five), Finland (Pyrinto), Portugal (Imortal), Spain (Caceres and Prat), Taiwan (Suns and New Taipei CTBC DEA), Dominican Republic (San Carlos), Libya (Ahly Tripoli) and The Basketball Tournament (Brotherly Love). He won CEBL championship title in 2019 and 2021.
Johnson graduated from New Mexico Highlands University in 2017 and it is his sixth season as a professional player. He played also for Tallahassee Community College for one year.
