Mohamed Abbassi (ex US Monastir) is a newcomer at Al Hilal

Al Hilal Benghazi (D1) strengthened their roster with addition of 32-year old Tunisian ex-international 204cm center Mohamed Abbassi. Abbassi started the season at US Monastir in Tunisian ProA. He was a member of Tunisian Senior National Team between 2011 and 2020.
Abbassi has played also professionally for other Tunisian teams like ES Sahel, Ezzahra, JS Kairouan and ES Rades. He won Tunisian League championship title in 2017, 2018 and 2022 and the cup in 2017, 2018 and 2022.
Among many awards he was voted to Afrobasket.com All-African Champions Cup Honorable Mention back in 2014.
