Al Alhy Benghazi (D1) agreed terms with 33-year old American guard Julius Coles Jr. (196cm-88kg-1989, college: Canisius) to play for them Libyan Cup for 2021-2022 season

He was about to sign at Al Morog.

He is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in seven different countries. He tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Africa and of course North America. Coles has played previously professionally in Bosnia (Siroki), Germany (Schwelm), Kosovo (Prishtina), Morocco, Qatar (Al Sadd, Al Ahli and Al Wakrah), Tunisia (US Monastir) and North Macedonia (Lirija).
He graduated from Canisius College in 2012 and it is his eleventh (!!!) season as a professional player.
On Coles: A "classic" scoring point guard specimen from New York, has great personality on the court. Coles is shooting with a terrific percentages in his first pro season, and he is still learning the PG job; but due to his size and athleticism he is a major prospect for the next level.
