Al Nasr Benghazi (D1) landed 30-year old American 185cm guard Terrell Stoglin (college: Maryland) for new season. Stoglin played most recently at AS Sale in Moroccan D1 league. In 6 Basketball Africa League games he averaged impressive 30.8ppg, 3.0rpg and 4.8apg last season. He also played for Al Shorta (Superleague) in Iraqi league.
Stoglin has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2012.
He is a very experienced player. Stoglin has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to thirteen different countries on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Bahrain (Al-Manama), China (Hunan), France (Cholet Basket), Greece (Ilysiakos), Italy, Lebanon (Beirut Club and Sagesse), Poland (Enea Zastal), Qatar (Al Rayyan), Saudi Arabia (Al Ahly), Turkey (Adanaspor), Ukraine (Mariupol), Venezuela (Trotamundos) and Egypt (Zamalek).
Stoglin graduated from University of Maryland in 2012 and it will be his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Stoglin's game is described as: A lefty scorer who played the point-guard spot but who seems more adequate for the 2 spot at European level. Has an immense offensive talent, can score in various ways but loves to start any game with the ball in his hands and is too much selfish to play stably at the point.
