Murray Mondy

Al Madina Tripoli (D1) agreed terms with 31-year old American guard Duke Mondy (193cm-94kg-1990, college: Oakland, agency: BIG) for new 2022-2023 season. Mondy played last season at Ahly Benghazi. The last summer he played at Cafeteros in Colombian Liga WPlay where in three games he had 7.7ppg and 1.0apg in 2021 season.
In 2014 he was drafted by Rio Grande Valley Vipers (D-League) in fourth round (68th overall).
The former Oakland University standout is in his ninth season in pro basketball.
He is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in six different countries. Mondy tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Canada (Moncton Magic and Highlanders), Luxembourg (Arantia), Mexico (Ostioneros de Guaymas), Poland (GTK), Ukraine (Odessa) and NBA G League (Sioux Falls Skyforce and Texas Legends).
