D1 Round 7 (Second Stage): Al Morog edge Al Ittihad by three points

The most exciting game of round 7 in the D1 took place in Almarj. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 4th placed Al Ittihad (3-3) to seventh ranked Al Morog (2-5) 62-59 on Monday evening. Al Morog moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Al Madina and Al Hilal. Al Ittihad at the other side keeps the fourth position with three games lost.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Benghazi: Ahly Benghazi (#3) and Al Hilal (#6). Al Hilal was defeated at home 70-82 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Ahly Benghazi (5-2) moved-up to second place, which they share with Al Nasr. Al Hilal lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with Al Madina and Al Morog.
The game in Tripoli was also quite interesting. Second ranked Al Nasr (5-2) played at the court of 5th ranked Al Madina (2-5). Al Nasr managed to secure a 7-point victory 68-61 on Monday. Al Nasr maintains second place with 5-2 record having just two points less than leader Ahly Tripoli, which they share with Ahly Benghazi. Al Madina lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with Al Hilal and Al Morog.



Al Hilal - Ahly Benghazi 70-82
