Al Morog (D1) landed 33-year old American 196cm guard Julius Coles Jr. (college: Canisius) for new season. Coles played most recently at US Monastir in Tunisian ProA.

In three Basketball Africa League games he averaged 10.3ppg, 2.7rpg, 4.3apg and 2.0spg last season. He also played for Al Wakrah in Qatari QBL where in 19 games he was league's fourth best scorer with impressive 22.7ppg and recorded 6.4rpg, 7.0apg (top 3) and 1.8spg. Coles helped them to win the regular season and make it to the semifinals.

It was a very successful season in his career as he was voted to Asia-Basket.com Qatar D1 All-Imports Team.

He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in six different countries playing on three different continents. Coles is familiar with European, Asian and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in Bosnia (Siroki), Germany (Schwelm), Kosovo (Prishtina), Morocco, Qatar (Al Sadd and Al Ahli) and North Macedonia (Lirija).

Coles graduated from Canisius College in 2012 and it will be his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Let's have closer look into His outlook: A "classic" scoring point guard specimen from New York, has great personality on the court. Coles is shooting with a terrific percentages in his first pro season, and he is still learning the PG job; but due to his size and athleticism he is a major prospect for the next level.
