Anthony Miles

Defending champion Al Ahly Tripoli (D1) agreed terms with 32-year old American point guard Anthony Miles (184cm-83kg-89, college: Lamar) for upcoming 2021-22 season. Miles played recently at Beirut Club in Lebanese LBL league. The last season he played at Agribertocchi Orzinuovi in Italian Serie A2 where in 31 games he was league's third best scorer with impressive 21.4ppg and averaged 5.5rpg, 3.9apg and 1.8spg (in top 2). 2020-21 was a great season as he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie A2 Guard of the Year, named to 1st Team and named to All-Imports Team.
He is quite experienced player. Miles has played also professionally in Holland (Feyenoord), Latvia (VEF Riga), Poland (Kociewskie Diably), Romania, Ukraine (Polit-Halychyna) and Italy (Scafati, RO Eurobasket and Cagliari Dinamo Academy).
He played in the final of Latvian League in 2016.
Miles attended Lamar University until 2012 and it is his tenth season as a professional player.
